And now you can unlock the iPhone 3G easily

It was announced now in the new year despite already being ready for a software to unlock iPhone 3G to all networks.

This software was developed by the iphone dev-team and his name is yellowsn0w.

It has some limitations but is still in beta. To work just to use the iphone baseband 02:28:00 which is provided by firmware 2.2 so you have to use it to update the iphone via itunes, and then make jailbroken install this software installer or cydia role.

More information and repositories for cydia install and are available at: http://blog.iphone-dev.org/
